For those of you that
could not make it to this past month’s car clinic, you missed out on a good
time. We talked about performance. We covered a lot, but everyone seemed
real interested in distributors and timing. We had lots of questions in that
area. We had lots of different kinds of intake manifolds and heads lying out
to see some differences. And speaking of differences, we had a detailed
small block sitting next to a detailed big block so people could compare and
contrast. And as usual, we had some really good food to go along with a lot
of neat cars that showed up. We ended up with 47 people from 4 different car
clubs.

RESTOMOD PLUS HOSTED OUR LAST CAR CLINIC ON SATURDAY, JULY 14, 2007. FROM 9:00 AM UNTIL 12:00 NOON. WE HAD OVER 50 PEOPLE SHOW UP FOR A GREAT TIME. WE HAD A DISCUSSION THAT COVERED INFORMATION ABOUT THE STRUCTURE OF A MUSTANG. USING OUR LIFE SIZE DISPLAY OF THE SHEET METAL STRUCTURE THAT IS USED IN THE UNIBODY OF A MUSTANG, WE CAN EASILY SEE WHAT IT IS THAT YOU ARE SITTING ON WHEN YOU SIT IN THE SEAT OF YOUR CAR. WE THEN PROCEEDED INTO THE SUSPENSION OF A MUSTANG AND THEN FINISHED UP WITH A DISCUSSION ABOUT THE BRAKES USED IN MUSTANGS. ALONG THE WAY WE ALSO THREW IN A FEW HELPFUL HINTS THAT MAY HELP YOU WHEN YOU WORK ON YOUR CLASSIC. I WANT TO THANK ALL WHO CAME OUT TO THIS EVENT. I ENJOY TALKING ABOUT THESE CARS AND I HOPE EVERYONE WHO CAME HAD A GREAT TIME AND LEARNED SOMETHING.
THANK-YOU,
WAYNE
