LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
JANUARY
To the Boss, you the club Member,
First of all for those of you who are not familiar with me, my name is John Moody. I have been a
member of Suncoast Mustang Club for over 24 years. I have owned the same Mustang, a 1969 Mach I,
for 28 years while numerous others have passed thru the stable. My wife Denise and I have been
married for over 30 years. We have two daughters, Sabrina the oldest and Christine our youngest. Our
one son-in-law Robert is married to Sabrina. I have had a love affair with the Mustang for over 40 years
and my wife and I have owned numerous Mustangs over the years. My wife Denise currently drives a
2007 Mustang GT that is Torch Red with white lemans stripes. I have been a member of the Mustang
Club of America (off and on) for 28 years.
Now let’s get back to club business. I would like all of the members to think of activities they would like
to see the club do or participate in this coming year. Bring these ideas to the next meeting, or send
them to myself or our new Vice President Tom O'Connor. I would like to take a minute and Thank Tom
for stepping up to the plate and volunteering to be Vice President. Tom will do a great job as Vice
President in the coming year. I hope to see many of you at Silver Springs this weekend (January 10th &
11th). This will be our first trip up to this show. I understand they have over 1500 cars registered. This
will be a great opportunity to view cars from different parts of the state we do not usually see at our
local shows. Also don't forget our annual show this spring. I know Bill Dellert our show chair will need
help with registration, goodie bags, and judging. I hope to see as many of you as possible at the next
club meeting at Autoway Ford on Monday, January 12th. Until then, be Safe and Happy Mustang
Motoring
.John Moody
